Some Companies part 2
Okay so you know how I was telling you in my previous blog about my husband's job. He calls Wednesday to tell them to make sure they leave his paycheck at the office so we could pick it up. Well let me just tell you, my husband's foreman said and I quote "oh well, we went ahead and just laid you off yesterday". OMG....are you freaking kidding me! They apparently didn't think that we needed to know! All I can say is WOW!!!! I guess they figured they would just hold out as long as possible so it would take longer to file unemployment on them. Well they were so long and we even claimed it back til Monday.

Dang Companies
Some companies amaze me. My husband is a welder so he works for a construction company out in the plants. There is not a whole lot going on around here due to the economony. Anyways, the company he works for has sent him home the last two day he has went in to work. They tell him they don't have any work for them right now but don't wont him to come in unless they call him to come in. They tell the workers they don't wont to give them a layoff because they will have something in a week or so. So in the meantime, we are suppose to sit on our thumbs and not draw any unemployment. Time are getting tougher and we can just just and wait for a phone call. The sad part is that everyone knows the company is getting paid for the workers service whether they are there or not. It is just a way to pocket more money.

Some inventions!
I was watching a tv show called "Modern Marvels" it is about things people have invented. They have some people inventing this thing sort of like a dolphine fin. It is to help people swim faster. They are also hoping to for people to be able to eventually leap out of water just like dolphins and whales. I am not too sure what a normal person would do with this inventions but I see divers being able to use it. I know how important time is to a diver. So being able to get down to the desired location and back to the boat with greater speed would be very useful. I just thought this was kind of interesting.

Chips
My family is big chip eaters, especially my little boy. So I usually buy the variety pack so there is something for everyone. It makes me so mad that there is always the same packs of chips. Lays makes some really good flavored chips so I wished they would make a variety of the variety packs. That way the variety pack doesn't get old because it has the same chips in it all the time. I think I have seen two variety packs and they are not much different.
If you are wondering why I just don't go buy the family size chips if it is that big of a deal. I would, but they would go stale. If I buy a big bag that bag has to be eaten before the next one is open. My family doesn't like to eat the same chips over and over. They like to have the different kinds, that is them not me. I personally do not care one way or the other.
I also get a little ticked off when I pay almost six dollars for all those chips and the bags maybe half full if you are lucky. We have actually opened up a bag for my little boy and there literally like 7 chips. I am being serious, it was crazy. My husband and 4 year old eat to bags of chips with their sandwhich, or whatever they are eatting at the time. All the chips are like that though. I feel like we are have to pay for the air that they fill in those bags with. I believe that they do that to keep the chips fresh. I don't really know but if that is the case is that much air really necessary.
Have you ever notice that?

Here is another one of those Random thoughts.
In one of my past blogs, I explained that sometimes someone may not like what I have to say. Please do not taking is offensive. If you don't like something I say please leave me a comment so that I can see your point of veiw. I am a very open heart and mind kind of person. So other people comments and opinions are always welcome. Which brings me to my blog today
Okay so I have a myspace account and they have this application call bumper stickers. One of my favorite bumper stickers is Hell is for dead beat moms. Personally I think it should not be directed just toward moms but parents in general. For those of you who know me know that I am a died hard mommy. My world revolves around my son. Every decision I make is based off of what is best for Hagen.
I do not understand these people who can come in and out of a childs life if they every see them at all. It is a wonderful priviledge to have a child. There are so many people in this world who are struggling to have a child to love and nourish. Yet there are so many people that have kids but do seem to want them. In my opinion, if you do not plan on loving, nourishing, providing for, and putting the child's best interest before your own then maybe having kids is not for you. What does everyone else think?

Alittle fussing but still Very Excited!
Since the hurrican our insurance has been fighting us on paying for the damage done to my house. It has been one physical and mental roller coaster ride. It is just exhausting. We have recieved some money from them but not near enough to fix the house back to the way is was and should be. I just don't get it! What in the world to we pay insurance for? We pay lots of money to them IN CASE something happens. Something may happen maybe every 3-5 years. But when something does happen we are out of luck they are going to fight us for every dime! It is like all that money they got from us all that time without any claims didn't even exists! Does anyone else see a problem with this? It isn't like people are struggling as it is with the inflation of EVERYTHING!
Here is something else to think about. Once you are done fighting the insurance you have to fight the mortgage company to release the money. I mean are you serious. People go throught a diaster fight their insurance but they are a bunch of crooks. Then they have to find people to do the work, which is not easy to find trustworthy contractors who don't take advantage of the diaster situation. On top of all that you have to fight the mortgage company to give you the money to pay everyone. Most of the contractors do not care to sit and wait for the mortgage company to sit on their thumbs because they want someone to come out and look at the work and what ever else they do just to procrastinate the process. I don't understand why these people don't understand people lives have been messed with enough my mother nature we don't need man screwing even more than they already do!
Okay so anyways, where I live it is really tough to find contractors with all the damage that was done from Hurricane Ike. However, we finally found someone to start the work on our house with the little money we got from our insurance. We are super excited to get something started after 6 months of waiting and be able to do nothing. However, we are still fight the insurance company for the rest of the money they OWE us, so I hired a lawyer. You would think this would be a good idea, right! Except, apparently my lawyer has some staff that have issue with calling their clients back! Now what is a person to do?
But at least we are going to get the work started....I guess that is a start to a never ending story...lol.

Red Whelpy Rash
Yesterday, started out a normal day for me and my little boy. Then around 10 am my little boy came in and he had a red whelpy rash all over his body, except on his face. I called all around my family and friends asking them what it could be. Then I call Hagen's doctor and set up an appointment. When I got off the phone I went to check Hagen and it was climbing up to his face. By this time I was freaking out and worried that it could call his tongue or throat to swell. I decided since they dr. couldn't get him in for a few hours that I would head in to town, since we live about 40 minutes from a hospital, and hang out in town just in case the worse happened. That way we would be near a hospital.
Things went fine and we went on to his dr. appointment, The dr. informed us that he had hives. He said that since Hagen had the flu a week in half to two weeks ago and his body was still trying to get rid of the left over toxins. Sometimes bodies do different things to get rid of the toxins.
I was very relieved and informed when I left there. I had no idea that something like that happens.

School
I have recently met some new people in my city. Our kids are about the same age so we have been hanging out letting the boys play. Some how we got on the subject about school. I have a 4 year old so I believe he will be starting next year. Anyways, she informed me that her son will not be attending the public school because ther are 2 teachers that she knows of that are really difficuilt to deal with. Whoaaa....I was completely blown away with this bit of information she shared with me. I am no one to judge for this decision. However, I do have my own opinion. Imagine that my own opinion....lol.
I am sorry but world is full of difficult people to deal with. I love my baby with all my heart but to keep him sheltered from difficult people or hard times is not going to make his life any easier. In my opinion, it is only going to make things worse since he won't be under my wing all his life. At some point in time I am going to have to leave this world and I want to be confident that I have raised a self discipline and strong yound man. I would never be able to rest in peace knowing that I shelter my baby and didn't provide him with the right tools and hard lessons learned through life for his to be a successful person in this world. The truth of the matter is that life is tough, always has been and always will be, but that is what makes us the people we are today.
